Star Wood Shield is a range of transparent and decorative wood-protection systems developed for furniture, doors, windows, cabinetry, flooring and architectural woodwork. Depending on the selected formulation, the coating can provide resistance to moisture, scratches, stains, dirt, UV exposure and weathering while allowing the natural wood grain to remain visible. The correct system is selected according to the substrate, existing finish, exposure conditions, expected wear and required appearance.

Star Wood Shield forms a protective coating over properly prepared wood. Selected formulations provide hydrophobic performance, helping water bead on the surface and reducing moisture penetration. Other available systems add scratch, stain, dirt, UV and weather resistance. Surface preparation, compatible sealing, coating selection and correct curing are essential to achieving the intended performance.
